The chalet has 9 beds, Bedroom 1 has a double Bed, Bedroom 2 has a double and a single and bedroom 3 has a single (that has a pull out to convert to a double) and Bunk beds. In addition, The sofa can also be made into a double sofa bed.
Chalet Edelweiss is only 1 hr 30 mins drive from Salzburg and 1 hr 20 minutes drive from Klagenfurt.
Chalet Edelweiss is well positioned between 2 ski areas, Kreischberg (10 minutes) and Turracher (25 minutes) which combined offer nearly 70km of skiing. The Kreischberg ski area is making an investment of 7 million euros to put in a covered 6 seater chairlift and 3kms of piste which when complete will be sited within 4/500 metres of the chalet, the first part of this link is due to be ready winter 2008. In addition the area offers a range of winter and summer activities including, tobogganing, horse drawn sleigh rides, ice skating, curling, swimming, tennis, walking, cycling, both downhill and cross county skiing, golf, mountain biking.
There are a complete range of slopes from blues and nursery slopes for the complete beginer to challenging blacks for advanced skiers.

Yes they are, adult towelling robes are also provided. Swimming towels are also provided.
The chalet is a 10/15 minute walk to Stadl.
The swimming pool is just down the hill about 50 metres from the Chalet. Although the pool is quite small it does have a counter current. There is a separate 8 person Jacuzzi. The pool is heated. There are changing/shower facilities.
Stadl is a quaint village of 1100 inhabitants who are extremely friendly towards visitors. Whilst the welcome is warm and traditional, if you want loud bars and a busy night life Stadl is not for you! If you want uncrowded slopes and great local cuisine, Stadl is a great location!

Smoking is forbidden in the chalet, guests who smoke in the chalet will not have their security deposit returned!!

Yes, bedlinen and towels will be changed and an additional supply of complimentary toiletries provided.
The controls on the Hot Tub are self explanatory. The temperature should be set at no more than 32 degress centigrade. Please refer to the safety instructions in the chalet before use. Our local agent carries out servicing and will have switched on the hot tub prior to your arrival. The Hot Tub comfortably seats 4 adults.
The local hotel provides an extensive menu from which you can order cooked food for home delivery. Simply place your order before 7pm and your food will be with you promptly at the time you specify. A copy of the menu is available in the chalet but there is something for everyone including a children's menu.
no, the shared indoor swimming pool is only open during the summer months at the present time - there are two fantastic indoor pools nearby at Murau and Tamsweg and a lovely outdoor pool at St Lorenzen
